Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Polaris

This is one of AP's most purpose-built limited editions and one of the most interesting to actually understand. The flyback chronograph is configured as a regatta countdown timer: 10 minutes, with an internal window that runs black through the countdown and flips to red for the final minute. The internal rotating bezel functions as a compass. The caseback has a compass rose engraved on it, which is echoed on top of the box. The box itself is shaped like a sailboat winch, a direct nod to the Alinghi racing team. It's a complete concept, executed all the way through. Stainless steel 42mm case, black dial with red and white accents, rubber strap with AP deployant. Serviced 2019 with paperwork.
